OUR ORIGINS
Lou + Kali Jo = Lokal Vintage
Lucas (aka Lou) is a guy with an eye for anything that reminds him of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Full House, or Saved by the Bell. He's the style guru that loves finding vintage threads "out in the wild." He's also half-hippie or half-carny or something. He's always grooving.
Kali Jo (me) is an artsy bookworm who is drawn to chaotically loud patterns and anything with a story. As someone who has taught art and English, I find vintage to be a fun twist of past lives and dazzling designs. In non-nerd talk, I dig the vibes.
As "90s kids," we offer our thrifted finds as a celebration of stylish forays into previous decades and as an attempt to declutter our world just a little bit, if only by one vintage clothing item at a time.
OUR MISSION
We want to give old things new lives. We want style that doesn't hurt the earth. And ultimately, we hope our little business can offer others a chance to go a little greener one vibe at a time.
